According to the book Ercoupe - Atouch of Class, page 197, there were only 17 Skyfarers built. The last one was auctioned off by Christies in March 1981.  Built under the Ercoupe , Fred Weick patents it had the two control system, but without moveable rudders.

The Aeronca "Chum" had nearly the same spec's as the Ercoupe. It was advertised as a low-wing, spin proof aircraft and the picture shows it to be similar to the coupe with a twin tail. It was also licensed by Engineering and Research Corporation under the Weick  U. S. patent."
